Please confirm/correct my understanding of these two birth records. Also, should I assume from the lack of a marriage date or death date in the margins that the children died young? Similar information is filled in for all members of this family whose certificates have been located.

1882 & 1877 Birth Records
Re: 1882 & 1877 Birth Records
Not all marriage records were transfer to the civil birth records they could have gone to the US moved to a different comune and never contacted there birth comune to update records. There are so many changes in record keeping over the years in Italy.

Re: 1882 & 1877 Birth Records
Thank you for this information. My thought was that these two died young because I have been able to prove that the other siblings either stayed in Italy or immigrated (in addition, another brother named Leonardo was born seven years later). Does anyone know if there were separate sets of death records kept in most comunes in the late 1800s, or if deaths and marriages were mainly just recorded as notes in the marigins of birth records? Also, can someone please confirm/edit the data in these two records? I am especially curious as to whether or not a specific house is noted on what seems to be the street (Via Petra Ramaglia).
Re: 1882 & 1877 Birth Records
Sometimes due to conditions or if the civil official is gone the deaths are recorded late which would be in the Parte II in the record year. Which usually has a seperate index. Like for instance you said there was a another Leonardo just get the FHL films for the years back from his birth for the death record.
You do know that the street Via Pietro Ramaglia, Ripabottoni, Italia is still there in the town of Ripabottoni its on google map search.
It looks like 2 different street numbers 15 Via Pietro Ramaglia and 24 Via Pietro Ramaglia they could have moved

Marty, thank you for the advice on this. Also, I hadn't yet looked into whether or not the street still existed, and so look forward to checking it out on the map this week.
