Cordani surname in NY

I'm looking for information on my Cordani relatives from Isola, Rovegno and Zoagli. My great grandfather, Anthony J. Cordani was born August 17, 1871 in Rovegno. He entered NY April 12, 1873 from a "french line" out of Le Havre France. He resided at 271 Williams Street, NYC. His son was Joseph Cordani. Joe had 2 sons, one of whom was my father. The only information I have about my relatives I've gotten from the Passport application, which is incredibly detailed. None of my relatives took part in the censuses over the years. A Antonio Cordani married a Antonia Fiorenza Capaldi from my Family in Bristol, and sailed to the US. I dont know where he was from though?
Never seen a person searching Cordani family before, so i had to make a post...........you never know!

Thank you all so much! You did find my great grandfather, including the names of the two children who died young that we had no names for! Of course, there are still some inconsistencies. My grandfather told me his father died right before he was born 1911- but there he is listed deceased in 1930! Once I figure that out I can request a death certificate.

Have you tried looking at City Directories. Sometimes they list an exact death date in the year that the person died.
