1940 Census
As FamilySearch and Ancestry. com add 1940 census images that can be browsed, this may help to narrow down Enumeration Districts (ED)

Thanks vj for posting. Lot easier to get around the Census. Louisiana is not completed yet, cannot wait till it does.

Have you linked to the NARA census images thru the Steve Morse site or accessed NARA directly?
It appears that they have Louisiana on line

Re: 1940 Census Aid
I also used google maps today for the cross streets, I knew what street they lived on in 1940 in PA but not the cross streets.
If the street(s) still exist today, this was a good tool me.

Re: 1940 Census Aid
Does anyone know where I can get a clear sharp copy of a BLANK 1940 Census. Also what is a good website to look/search the 1940 Census if you don't have a membership to any of the websites...such as Ancestry.com, WorldVitalRecords.com....in other words, something FREE to search. I have a relative that does not have a membership but wants to search for family members.
Thank you and have a good day.
