Hi if anyone could help me that would be great!

Post by StarBlaziin »

Hi my name is Kaitlin and I really need help figuring out when my great grandfather Salvatore Peperato naturalized in the US. I know that he was born around December 24 1884(iffy on the year). He was married to my great grandmother Lucia(Lucy) Rubino. Then they both came to the US from Italy(I believe around Abruzzo) in 1906. They had kids who were: Albert, Virginia, Guy, and Carl Peperato. I'm trying to get dual citizenship with Italy and I am totally lost in figuring out how to go about doing this. I know I need to figure out whether or not I'm eligible first so that's why I need help figuring out what year my great grandfather was naturalized in the US if at all. Please help me!

Thank you
Kaitlin

I could not locate a naturalization record for Salvatore but was able to find a miltary record on familysearch.org It lists his birthday as Dec,24 1885 born in Pachendro, Italy. Hope this is a help.

Thank you, I really appreciate it!!!! One more thing, if you don't mind. Do you know how to get official naturalization records?

I think the town is Pacentro of L'Aquila provence in Abruzzo, Italy
Heres some info for you to see if you qualify for dual citzenship

Heres a website for Pacentro and your surnames Peperato and Rubino are in that town.
