Looking for family of Rosenstein

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Hello JenniC :-)

You may want to check out the microfilms available to rent and view at your local LDS Family History Center... They have the following records from Egypt.

Many Jewish families moved to Egypt in the 19th century to work on the Suez Canal. Egypt mostly refused to grant them citizenship so most retained their citizenship from their country of origin for generations. In fact one of the most famous Jewish families in Egypt, the Cicurel family, was of Italian origin. When did your family leave Egypt? Most Jewish families fled in the 1950s in the aftermath of the creation of the State of Israel.

Are there any records of families that migrated?
