Does anybody know of any websites where I can search for records from Terrati, Cosenza, Calabria or Amantea in Calabria?

suanj could you tell me where you found Pietro's parents' names. I'm trying to find Caterina Feradi's birthdate and I can't find her anywhere. Thank you.

I know that Pietro had a brother that after he came to the United States moved to Pittsburgh, PA and died young. Is there any way of finding out this brother's name and if Pietro had any more siblings?

My great-grandfather never really talked about his family, so I don't know any names. All anybody in my family knows is that his brother went to Pittsburgh, PA and he died young.
My great-grandfather was born in San Pietro in Amantea in 1887 and his last residence was Terrati, so maybe his brother was also born in San Pietro in Amantea and around 1887. The parents I have for Pietro are Pasquale Gatto and Caterina Feradi. I'm sorry I don't have more information.

Suanj,
I know you found that information and I am very grateful for that.

I don't know Pietro's brother's name, but I thought that if I posted the information you found about Pietro that someone could use that information to find his brother or siblings.

There is a website called "Portale della Storia degli Italiani", and a subsequent page for the "Archivio di Stato di Cosenza", and it has quite a few on-line records, mostly from the period between 1806 through 1866, but also some records after that period. There is a free registration, and I have used it to expand my research enormously. The link is below:
