Found a name I would like to further research in the Index but can't seem to find it in the Baptismal records:

Lanza Salvator ex Carmelo et Catherina Coniglio (?) 16 - (Junii) - 1891 298.

I read this as Salvator Lanza of Carmelo Lanza and Catherina Coniglio was baptized on 16 June, 1891. What does the 298 refer to. I looked in the corresponding Baptismal Year Record book but could not correlate the 298 with anything such as N# or Page.

Any help would be appreciated! Grazie.

There are indexes for most years at the beginning and some in the middle you just have to search
The page is #265 the record number is #298 familysearch have there own page numbers so you have to figure out the number on the top of the page and sometimes the record number

I have looked at Corleone records alot and starting to know the writing and the indexes and pages very well. You are lucky your family looks like stayed in that area so keep looking you will find more of your family lineage in the Corleone records
