Trying to trace Italian Grandfather ww2
Trying to trace Italian Grandfather ww2
I am trying to trace my grandfather who was a POW in Northumberland in England. He fathered a son, my father in 1949. His name was Bonafacio or Bonifaci or similar and he may have been an airman, this is the only information I have. Hope somebody can help or give me some tips on how I can move forward.

Re: Trying to trace Italian great Grandfather ww1
Having spoken to relatives I have now been told that I have great grandad from Italy who was the father of my gran, she was called Dorcas. She was born around 1920 in Nortumberland also. It was my great grandad who was the airman and has the name Bonifaccio or similar. The family history is complicated and some of the details have been muddled over time but somebody might be able to help.
