I am looking for information regarding my great-great grandparents. My great-great grandfather was Vincent Rossi his wife was Angelina Bove of Maddaloni, Italy (near Naples). I believe Angelina was born around 1883 to parents Katherine Nacca? and Raffaele (Ralph) Bove. Her siblings include Vincent, Luigi, Anna, Maria and Carmela. I have no further information on Vincent Rossi but would like to know his birth/death date and where he came from in Italy (if different from Maddaloni). Vincent and Angelina\'s children are Mary, Angelina, Nelson, Lucy, Ralph and my great-great grandma Vincenza Rossi.

If you go to www.ellisisland.org website there is only one Angela Bove from Maddaloni who entered the USA in 1921 at age39 indicating that she was born in 1882. There is another listing for Vincenzo Rossi who first entered the USA in 1906 at age 25 and then once again in 1909 at age 28. He is the only one showing birth in Maddaloni. Now that you appear to have his birth date you can write to Maddaloni for documents such as birth records,marriage certificates or death certificates. Did any of the two die in the USA after 1963? If they died earlier yuou may wish to check with the death certificates issued at time of death for vital data. Peter
