No reply from provincial office?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

No reply from provincial office?

Post by christinalynn »

Hi all

I wrote to the civil office in Trivigno, Potenza back in April requesting 2 birth certificates and a marriage certificate. I had all of the specific details included (date of birth, place of birth, parents names, etc) and haven't gotten a reply yet. I know they exist, as I have seen scanned copies of them. Is it normal to wait this long? Or is there a different office or avenue I should be trying?
The address I used was below. Any ideas? Thanks all.

Ufficio di Stato Civile
Municipio di Trivigno
Piazza Plebiscito 1
85018 TRIVIGNO (PZ)
Italy
