Hello,
San Michele di Moriano is part of the Commune of Lucca.
This is the marriage act of Antonio Biagini and Maria Giustina Graziani:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... :419624432

Date: October 2nd, 1888
Groom: 24 years, peasant, born and living in San Michele, son of Luigi and Filomena Paolinelli, both living in S. Michele
Bride: 26 years, housewife, born and living in Gragliana (should be a hamlet in the commune of Fabbriche di Vallico, province of Lucca), daughter of Domenico, living in Gragliana, and of the deceased Ester Gambogi.

Antonio married again, on September 2, 1893, with Marianna Giuli:

Dear PippoM,
Thank you very much for this information. I am now looking for records on a Raphaello Biagini with DOB 1874 ish. He came to Ellis Island, from La Havre, France, on 5/12/1901. His residence is also San Michele Di Moriano,Lucca.
Grazie Mille!!!!

I do not have time at the moment to pull up the birth record, BUT here is the index showing a Raffaello Biagini, born in 1972, father is Luigi. Record is #1000

Maybe one of the other volunteers can post it for you...

Is there any possibility of finding a marriage record for Luigi Biagini son of Salvatore and Filomena Paolinelli? Their first born I believe was Antonio in 1865. I do not have a marriage date? Also In order to get a birth record for Luigi with DOB 1838 will I have to go to Family History microfilms or write a letter to commune/church? I am also attempting to get back to my ggg gf Salvatore. Again will I have to go through the microfilms or write a letter to the commune/church???
I must thank you for all of your most excellent detective work!!!!
