Frank
I know you posted this difficult to read church record back in November. I am still struggling with it, but here is what I do understand.
Dated May 3, 1647
Banns on April 23, 28, and May 1, 1647
Groom: Lorenzo Albano son of deceased Lorenzo Albano and Geromina(?) Albano. I believe it says he was a widower of Monte.
Bride: Caterina Schera, widow of deceased Antonio Schera. Daughter of deceased Biagio and (possibly the abbreviation is for the name Philomena) Taliana(sp?) of Monte

Hopefully there will be some other record to help clarify the names. At least you have a starting point.

Hi,
just to confirm...I read the same as Erudita, but
-I'd say mother's name has to be spelled Geronima (or Gerolama, or Girolama)in Italian;
-groom's surname seems to be "d'Albano"

I agree with Pippo that the surname in the record has a d'
I had seen that too and failed to type it.
I guess I spelled Geronima incorrectly and that was what I meant, but the other first names are also possibilities as Pippo has pointed out. Based on the abbreviation in the record, it is impossible to know which one is correct.
