Translation of Casagrande Passport

Can someone please translate this please esp the date of issue.
Thanks, There are four photos of this it was rather a large document and it arrived in four photo copies.It belonged to my Great Great grandfather Antonio Casagrande.

The passport was issued in Chiavari Jan 24 1849 and is valid for New York. The notation, dated Feb 13 1949, on the last image states rìthat Antonio is accompanied by his son Gerolamo.
Antonio, aged 30, resided in Orero (Genova) and was called to go in US by Michele Biggio, property owner, residing there.

When a relative gave us a copy of this passport it had a translation of sorts with it. We had reached so many dead ends in finding the ship he arrived on that we suspected that it might be a flawed translation and YES after you translated the dates the passport was issued we realize the old papers did not have an accurate translation done on them. Would it be possible now to get the entire document translated? You have helped us greatly by giving us not only a correct date but a new Spelling of his sons name...we were not even aware he was listed on this passport! Thank you very much.

In the notation that Livio translated for 13 February, Gerolamo is identified as "d'anni otto" - 8 years of age.

The left column identifies Antonio's physical characteristics, residence and occupation

Left Column

Stature
Hair – blonde
Forehead – medium
Eyebrows – brown (chestnut)
Eyes – grey
Nose – medium
Mouth – same
Beard – brown (chestnut)
Face – round
Complexion – natural
Particular marks – none

Occupation – Peasant farmer

Antonio was about 1,63 mt high. The passport states "38 oncie". I did some research and according to: http://xoomer.virgilio.it/vannigor/unitadimisura.htm in Piemonte 1 oncia = 1/12 piede, 1 piede = 51,44cm

This is great to have a correct translation! Does it give any information as to where either Antonio or Gerolamo were born or any other information that would be useful intracking them in Italy? They lived in Orero ,is it likely Gerolamo was born there? Thank you very much for your help! Does it give the location of Michael Biggo in the United States?

Antonio was born in Genova, son of unknown parents

Does that mean he was an orphan? I read somewhere that Casagrande was a name given to orphans.

Not necessarily an orphan, he could have been abandoned by his mother when he was born

That makes him around 5 foot 4 or 5 inches correct?
