Can anyone tell me if there are two towns called Padula in Italy? My great grandfather supposedly came from near Naples. I just found his death certificate and it lists Padula as his place of birth. But that is about 100 miles away. Is there another Padula near Naples?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Two Padulas?
Some???? Oh my, LOL.
"Near" is such a relative term. The list gets shorter if I start with those inside Campania, and hope I get a hit. It looks as if the commune of Padula, Salerno, Campania records are available online. I'm pretty sure that he was born in 1866 or 1867, so that shouldn't be too bad to check.
Thank you Erudita.
