Hi There,
Here is the address where to write for records.
COMUNE di TALAMELLO
Provincia di Pesaro e Urbino
Pizza Garibaldi, 2
61010 Talamello (PU)
Tel. 0541 920036
Fax. 0541 920736
e-mail: comune.talamello@provincia.ps.it
Here is the link for the website.
http://www.comune.talamello.pu.it/
Don't forget the letter needs to be in Italian and here is a link that will help you translate the letter into Italian.
http://www.circolocalabrese.org/resourc ... civile.asp
And don't forget to send 2 IRC (International Reply Coupons) that you can get from the Post Office for about $1.80 each.
And if you give us more information about your family, maybe we can help you better.
I hope this helps,
Trish

Re: Ronconi
There are quite a few families from Talamello that came to this area to work the coal mines, they all lived in their own little community, associating with one another. I have plans to transcribe the cemetary where many of them are buried and upload it to the internet. If I come across any of your surnames I will let you know........as suanj has said...Talamello was a tiny village..and so all related. To date the population is only around 1000 persons.

Re: Ronconi
Hi LIsa,
What for coalmines do you mean?
The Ronconi emigrated in France and worked really in the lorraine- Coalmines, but Geronimo Ronconi ( or was it a family-legend? Perhaps) cames with Garibaldis Camigie rosse!
What for cemetery are you meaning?

Re: Ronconi
There were many families from TALAMELLO who came to this area, Illinois.
They worked in the coal mines.
They are now dead and buried in Saint Josephs cemetary.
I am transcribing all their names.
Talamello was a very small village.....as you do further research you will come across more surnames related to your family. Not all of them went to France..some stayed in Italy...and others came to the United States.
