Where's Grandpa?

Post by Essgee »

For those of you having difficulty finding "Grandpa", the Steve Morse web-site now has a solution for that problem.

Go to: http://www.stevemorse.org/index.html

Go the section entitled Births, Deaths, and other Vital Records. The last catagory is entitled "Where's Grandpa". Click on the link and suddenly, there is the solution for every brick wall that you have trouble getting beyond.

If this was posted before, forgive me.

Have a great day!

Your great grandfather cannot be found

The ancestor you are looking for is currently unavailable. Your family tree might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to remove some family members.
.....

Dr. Morse certainly has a sense of humor as well.... :P

I could not get this link on Dr. Morse site to work. Just an error message that the page was unavailale, just like my brick wall ancestors!! OH well. I am sure Dr. Morse will have it up and running again. It will be interesting to see what info the site finds when it is up and running.

OK, Dr. Morse fooled me. Since it was HIS site, I took it seriously. Thought it would be a kind of search engine that looked or searched for your difficult ancestor.

First time I tried the site, just got a message saying the page was unavailable. Tried it again with a different browser and now see the message "Your great grandfather cannot be found

The ancestor you are looking for is currently unavailable. Your family tree might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to remove some family members."

Good tease Dr. Morse. I thought he had created a magical search engine that would find possible clues for me. Too good to be true!
