Re-posting because I had the wrong record linked!
I have seen Caterina spelled with 1 t and with 2 t's in different records
I am looking for the following:
-Want to verify the month of September
-The 1st witness's first name (last name of Esposito)
-The profession of Andrea Russo
-Last name of the mother of the deceased (Angela ?)
Thanks, jerry

Re: 1835 Death Caterina Russo
Hello,
I read "cataro" as Andrea's profession.
It was quite hard, but I found some references in Neapolitan dialect of XIX century to a Cataro as a cooper:

In fact, if I think over it, and read it "catàro" (Càtaro would be an eretic of the Middle Ages), for an association with more recent dialect, it makes me think of someone who makes liquid containers.
I also read mother's surname as "Cecere".
