Debbie.Cooper wrote:Thank you all for trying to help. My grandmother went by Cecelia, CD Celina, Isabella and Elizabeth Plouffe. She had run away from a wage home in Belmont Ma. She was a ward of the state and lived at Wrentham State School for many years. That is why she used all those names. I believe she was an unwed mother. She rented a room from Mrs.Thomas while pregnant. Her claimed her husband was Joseph DiPietro but may have been Michael. All the information you uncovered about my grandmother is what I have uncovered. I need to find out my Dad's biological father. Schaefer is his adopted name.

Thank you so much for helping me try to find my father's father. Most of what has been posted, I've already found on ancestry.com. My brother has done the DNA for the paternal line and I've also had my DNA tested. I have a lead on a Frank DiPietro who was arrested for stabbing a Samuel Dascolli. The newspaper article was dron the Boston Herald on Sept. 8, 1930. Does anyone know how I find out if there was a follow up article or criminal rcords on this man? Thanks.

Well I finally found my Italian grandfather. My father was given a fake last name because my grandmother got pregnant by a married man from Watertown Ma. His father's name was Francesco Daniele from Calabret Italy. He changed his name to Frank Daniels when he came to the USA.. Does anyone have information on the Daniele family from Italy. My dad was given thefirst and middle name Frank Daniels so he really carried his father's name and didn't know it.

Thank you for the information. I don't believe that my grandmother was married to Francesco Daniele, although she claimed she was. My grandmother's name was Celina Isabella Plouffe. My dad was born in 1932 in Boston. I believe Francesco had another son named Frank Daniels. I believe my grandmother go pregnant and he was married and had another family at the time.
