I don't read much Latin, but I can often make out names and dates. First of all, I think you mean left, not right.figaro66 wrote:Need Help translating this record, Vito lo Liggio Marriage to Unkown Lazzo?? Second record on the Right. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... C351499401
Vito Liggio, son of Leonardo and Paola, married Didaca (=Diega) Lazzo, daughter of Girolamo and Ursula (=Orsola). It looks like only the fathers' surnames were reported.
The date at the top of the record is 3 Oct 1734. In the record are the dates 19, 23, 26 Sep, which are perhaps the dates of the banns, although one would expect them to be spaced more apart than that.
Re: Liggio/Coniglio
This would appear to be the same woman as before, Diega Giovanna Antonina, daughter of Girolamo and Orsola, but the surname looks to me more like "Sano."figaro66 wrote:Found Another record, need to confirm, Please help Translate. BTW, why does the name Calabro' appear at the beginning of so many records? Was that the priest?

Re: Liggio/Coniglio
Thanks Carubia and Adelfio, They have great records in San Martino, But thry get harder to read. When you get the chance can you look at the first record I posted for Vito Lo Liggio and Unkown Lazzo. I can not make out her name?? Any suggestions? Again thanks especially to Adelfio, I can pretty much find all my records thanks to you.
Re: Liggio/Coniglio
Didn't you notice that in my first post I already said her name was Didaca (= Diega)?figaro66 wrote:When you get the chance can you look at the first record I posted for Vito Lo Liggio and Unkown Lazzo. I can not make out her name?? Any suggestions
But I thought you would've known this since you recognized the name on the baptismal record (although it seems to be spelled there slightly differently).carubia wrote:Vito Liggio, son of Leonardo and Paola, married Didaca (=Diega) Lazzo, daughter of Girolamo and Ursula (=Orsola).
