Luigi Sormanti and Vittoria de Santis
Could someone help translate the death records of Luigi Sormanti and Vittoria de Santis? They appear to be in Latin and I am unable to read it.

Luigi Sormanti died on Jan 18, 1878 at about age 75 and was the son of deceased Antonio Sormanti, spouse of Raffaela Zaccardi (Luigi's mother). He had been born in Valmonte.

And I also believe that Rafaela was Luigi's wife...
Re: Luigi Sormanti and Vittoria de Santis
I agree with you, Livio. Raffaela was Luigi's wife and not his mother.

Victoria de Sanctis died on Feb 2, 1904 at age 73. She was the daughter of deceased Giacomo Antonio de Sanctis, and the wife of Antonio Cocuzzoli. She was born in Oppido Arcani (?).

I don't know where these records are from, but he had been born in "Vallemontone". Can it be Valmontone?erudita74 wrote:Luigi Sormanti died on Jan 18, 1878 at about age 75 and was the son of deceased Antonio Sormanti, spouse of Raffaela Zaccardi (Luigi's mother). He had been born in Valmonte.

If this is the area, in the other record "Oppido Arcani" might be Arce or Rocca d'Arce.

Pippo
I thought I had typed Valmontone, but obviously not. I believe that is the correct town.

Re: Luigi Sormanti and Vittoria de Santis
Do the records state whether Raffaela Zaccardi and Antonio Cocuzzoli were deceased at the time of their spouses' deaths?
