to add to Livio's translation-

the deceased was living in this town -behind "il Reclusorio di San Pietro"

his mother was living in this town below "la Maggior Chiesa"

Thank you for the help couple questions

What does living behind "il Reclusorio di San Pietro mean

This town  "la Maggior Chiesa is this where is mother was living when he past away. And how far would you know is this town from Termini Imerese.
Thank you for the extra time and help

Scott-
Both the deceased and his living mother were living in Termini Imerese. The references are simply locations within the town and refer to buildings or street names that either currently exist or once existed there.

The record reads that the deceased was living in this town (Termini Imerese) "dietro (behind) il Reclusorio di San Pietro"-this location was in the town of Termini Imerese

The record also reads that the deceased's mother, still alive, was living in this town -Termini Imerese "sotto (below) la Maggior Chiesa"-so the location in this town where she lived was "below" La Maggior Chiesa.

Both were living in Termini Imerese and not in some other town.

I hope this clarifies things for you.

As Erudita stated these are not street names but references to important buildings.

Saverio was living in Termini, behind the St Peter prison, while his mother was also living in Termni, below the Major Church

(Erudita thanks, I was not able to read Reclusorio)

Hi Livio
It took some doing to figure out the word Reclusorio. I'm glad you are able to clarify things further. I wasn't sure what kind of facility it was.

Thank you very much that does help out a lot. It's very interesting on them using building and land marks instead of street names. I have seen that before on a few I just never knew what it ment. Thank you for all the information help.
