Hello,
I've become pretty good at reading Italian script, but recently have had to start reading through Latin records for one branch of my family. Any help with translating the following marriage record would be great.
I believe it says that Francesco Cuffari married Maria Gaetana Russo on 1/7/1888, but there are various references that I don't understand (e.g. the abbreviation "Magi" in the first sentence) and I am a little unclear at the parents' names (e.g. who is Horatio Caruso?).
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Re: Cerami Sicily - Marriage Record
Groom: Francesco Cuffari, son of Mastro Ambrogio and of deceased Concetta Testa, widower of Orazia (Horatiae) Caruso.
Bride: Donna Maria Gaetana Russo, daughter of deceased Don Luigi and living Rosa di Bella.
Magi is the abbreviation of Magistri and is a title indicating that Ambrogio was very good at his job.
