Help with Birth Record - Nunzia Veca 1951

Post by ItalianbellaSA »

Hi Everyone - I found a birth record for a person on my tree. I could use a little help with the translation. Here is what I have been able to read (please make any corrections or additions)

Name: Nunzia Veca
Born: January 1, 1851 in Patti
Father: Nicolo Veca, Age 28 (Born in 1823)
Mother: Febronia Ocera, Age 25 (Born in 1826)

The next page has a note that I believe records her marriage to Filippo Cappadona. Is a date given for the marriage? Also, what is the profession of Nicolo Veca?

Also, is a street address mentioned any where on the record?

Thank you in advance for any assistance! Here is the link:

It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.

Name: Nunzia Veca
Born: January 1, 1851 in Patti at 2 AM at home
Father: Nicolò Veca, Age 28, occupation - mulettier(Born in 1823)
Mother: Lucia Ocera, Age 25 (Born in 1826)
Right column indicates baptism at church of S. Nicolò on 5 January.

The next page has a note that I believe records her marriage to Filippo Cappadona. Is a date given for the marriage? Also, what is the profession of Nicolo Veca?
Notation indicates Nunzia contracted marriage with Filippo Cappadona on 8 July 1869.
Nicolò Veca was a bordonaro (mulettier)
Also, is a street address mentioned any where on the record?
Looks like Strada della Fiarar(sp?)

FYI - one of the witnesses to the record was Giuseppe Ocera, 23, mulettier.
