There's no cause of death and btw he was 2 years old when he died.

It looks like the surname is spelled Agozino here, with only one 'z'. It's the same name and both variants were common.

Death records from Sicily (probably not the rest of Italy either) before well into the 20th-c. almost never indicated how the person died.

This is his birth record so I'm pretty sure he was 10 when he died

How do you know it was the same child's birth record and not that of a different child that had the same name?

Well, I don't know that's a good question, are you sure the death record says 2 yrs old? and not 10? I can't read italian

My genealogist I hired wrote that on the record in english

It looks more like "due" than "dieci" to me, too, but I suppose a more clear copy may look different. I don't see any dots above the i's (if there are any) and there seems to be a letter missing if it's dieci. You can compare with the end of the word "cinquantadue" higher up in the document.

The mother's name on the birth record does not look like Maria Anna Cavaretta but rather Maria Anna Pizzo...
