So we have discussed the Marinotto aspect to this marriage, but I am now courious as to the Death of Garrasi'a first wife, I am pulling my hair out trying to find the death record, I see it says Feb 24, but I have looked in the 1875, 76, and 77 deaths and found nothing, can someone tell me if it says she died somewhere other then San Giuseppe Jato. PLEASEEEE
It says that the Palermo civil records office issued a copy of her death cert on 24 Feb (1877). So you know she died before then, but not how much earlier. However, she probably died in the city of Palermo; at the very least they have the record.

I have looked through the Palermo records for 1875, 76, and 77 and have not found her, I know she had a son who died in Jan 1 1875 and Emammuele remarried in Mar 1877 so The time frame is small. Any Idea's where I should look next.
No. The Palermo civil records office issued another copy of her death cert on 23 Nov 1881. Since we already know she died before 24 Feb 1877, this doesn't add anything, although it does reinforce it.
The death record for her son from 1875 might have been in error as to whether she was alive. Do you have any other records that mention her between 1872 and 1875?

I have attached a copy of the last childs birth record, I can't read it all but maybe their is a clue to when his mother died. also was he born in Palermo or san Giuseppe?
