Rosaria Geluso Baptism record
Re: Rosaria Geluso Baptism record
The records state that her parents are "Cejare e Philippa Pelo", Pelo being Filippa's maiden name, and she was baptized on the twelfth of December in 1806.

I am reading that the year is 1807 and the names mentioned in the record are Cesare and Philippa (Filippa, I guess) Geloso. The deceased is Rosaria Geloso.krash142 wrote:The records state that her parents are "Cejare e Philippa Pelo", Pelo being Filippa's maiden name, and she was baptized on the twelfth of December in 1806.

Angela, so The child was bap dec 12 1807 and also died? Im confused, I do see the Cesare part now, but these are suppose to be Bap records did the child die the same day it was born and therefore was bapt.?AngelaGrace56 wrote:I am reading that the year is 1807 and the names mentioned in the record are Cesare and Philippa (Filippa, I guess) Geloso. Rosaria Geloso was born to Cesare and Filippa on 12 Dec 1807 and baptized the same day. I see no mention of a death.

Whoops Sorry, my mind was elsewhere. This is definitely a baptism record. I was thinking "deceased" because I've been looking for a death record for another child. Humble apologies and sorry for the confusion. Hopefully, she went on to live a long happy life. I'll go wake myself with some strong coffee after my next post - the death record.
