I show his grandson as being from Chiusa and born in the early 1800s

Hi, I just came across this request for Noto family in Molochio, Italy.
Don't know whether I'll be of help, but Molochio is my birthplace (I live in Melbourne, Australia).

My maternal grandmother was Maria Noto, (married to Vito Caruso). Maria had a brother, Vincenzo Noto, my father's uncle and my great-uncle.

Vincenzo migrated to Melbourne probably in the 1940's, but after about 1960 we lost track of him, and bearing in mind his age, must be dead now.

I would not be surprised if we are related !

Hi this is really a late reply but I am very interested in your Noto genealogy. I was able to obtain my great grandfather's birth record from Molochio. I think your Maria maybe my great grandfather's sister. I would very much like to know more about his brothers and sisters. My great grandfather was the 7th of 10 children! I have all of their names and birth dates. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and yes we are related!
