Appearing before the offical was
1 - Carlo Savoia, age 23, farmer born in Toritto, residing in Toritto, son of unknown father and unknown mother.
AND
2 - Maddalena Paccione, age 19, farmer born in Toritto, residing in Toritto, daughter of Vito [Paccione] and of Vincenza Paladino, both of Toritto.

The publication of the banns of marriage was on 29 January and 5 February

Here is the birth act of Carlo Savoia in 1875 in Toritto. It has the notation of his marriage to Maddalena Paccione in the margin.

Appeared Anela Florio, age 34, receiver of the abandoned, residing in Toritto, to deliver a male child of about 1 day of age, ... found about 3:03 AM in public on Via Santa Maria, near her home at #44, and she presented this child.
The official gave the child the name Carlo, and the surname Savoia.
The child was given to a wetnurse, Angela Macchia [daughter of Giovanni] for care.
