On the 22nd of January 1857, in Gambatesa, Province of Molise [Campobasso, Italy], appeared Guiseppe Maria Saverio, son of Federico, 29, peasant farmer, living in Gambatesa, presented a male baby, Federico, born of Maria Giovanna Cirelli ?, his wife, 32, living in Gambatesa.

Federico Saverio was baptized on the 22nd of Jan 1857, at the parish church in Gambatesa.

Appreciate corrections/additions.

Hi John,

I do not think the surname of this birth father is Saverio, but rather - Severino - a name found in Gambatesa.
Take a look at the bottom of the record where the official has written their names.

I do agree that the mother's surname is Cirelli.

ALSO*** there is a notation of marriage on 19 December 1884 to Maria Giuseppa di Maria.

In it his mother's surname is clearly Cirelli, and HIS surname is clearly Severino.
