Monticelli is the origin of most of my maternal side of the family.
FamilySearch has many marriage records for the area.
Some are Monticelli and others, Monticello, which I figure is a transcription error.
Someone on the site emailed me and questioned this. They stated that they are two separate hamlets. I asked for something to clarify this. Their reply, "This is what my grandmother called it."
Here is a sample record:

The record hint has the couple married in Monticello, groom born in Monticelli and the bride born in Roccaguglielma.
Could someone chime in and give their judgement on this before I make a mess of the records?
Monticelli, Esperia (FR)

I would like to see the original document, not the transcription

Me too.
So far I have not found any history for a Monticello but that doesn't mean it didn't exist at one time.
