Hi, we found a Birth Record for Eleanora Cappa from 1880 (Number 21) in Petilia Policastro, Catanzaro. We would appreciate any help that can be given in reading this record.

Birth No 21: Eleonora Cappa
Petilia Policastro: 22 January 1880, 9.15 am
Giuseppe Cappa, son of Tommaso, 25yo, Vaticale? (water carrier – carries things for others with his own animals and/or cart) , living in Petilia Policastro, reported that at 4.20 am on 22 of the current month at a place in Largo Pomerio, No 7. Caterina Nicolazzi (I read Nicolazi but it has two z's), daughter of Giuseppe, wife of Giuseppe Cappa the declarant, donna di casa (housewife) gave birth to a female to whom was given the name Eleonora.

(The record is quite faint so hopefully I have the occupation and other matters correct.)

Thank you so very much Angela. We really do appreciate the help tremendously. The Parents Giuseppe Cappa and Caterina Nicolazzi are as we thought, since both came to America with their daughter Eleonora. We didn't know the Grandparents name and for them we are very grateful.
