Dated 19 November 1886 at 10:20 AM at the town office.
Before me Cav. Francesco Cosenz(?), Mayor, official of the civil records of Termini Imerese, appeared Rosa Macaluso, age 60, housewife residing in Termini, to declare to me that a 2 PM on the 17 of abovesaid month, at the house at Via S. Lorenzo, #15, to Giacoma La Cavera, age 33, seamstress, wife of Agostino Candioto, age 34, a cooper, both residing here, was born a female child who was presented to me, and to whom was given the name ROSA.
To the above and this act were present to give witness Pietro Corso, 28, a porter; and Liborio La Scala, 60, mason, both residing in this town. The declarant announced the above birth as she assisted Giacoma La Cavera, and in place of the husband of same, because he was absent(away)... I read the present act to all the participants, and only I signed as the others were illiterate.
