Nicola died on Nov 28, 1856 at age 38. He was a peasant living in the town and the son of Pasquale di Girolamo and Anna Domeica Porcellini, both peasants in the town. The death was reported by Sabatino di Girolamo, age 40, and Salvatore di Girolamo, age 50, both peasants in the town. Their relationship to the deceased is not given in the record. The informant Sabatino signed at bottom of the document, but Salvatore was illiterate and did not.
