Alternate FAMILY TREE maker suggestions.

Can anyone recommend or suggest an alternate program to "family tree maker"

Something that presents better in it's interface/ the layout of it's working page.

You might want to try Legacy 8.0. You can get a free download of the basic program, try it, and then decide if you want to upgrade to a deluxe version.

Thanks erudita! Funny coincidence, I actually did that last night. Sent a couple questions to the site as well to which I got prompt reply. Ver 9 to come will include ability to map same sex relations and their full circle fan charts will be able to populate 12 generations.

Seems one of the only cons the program got was the s-s issue. I'm going to evaluate the free version for now and look to ver 9 when it comes out if it seems to be what I'm looking for. Grazie !!
