Natralization

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Natralization

Post by ItalianbellaSA »

Hi Everyone!

I'm back and happy to see this site still going strong with such good people. I am looking at a 1930 U.S. Census for a Salvatore Pietro Guido (born July 17 1878 in Spezzano Grande, Cosenza). From that record, I found that he immigrated in 1904. It also states that he was "Naturalized". Is there a site where these naturalization records can be searched? I have seen some on Ancestry.com but not many. I am thinking there is probably information on the record that would be of help.

Thank you for any help with this question.

It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.
