Looking for any information on a female baby left at an orphanage in Genoa in 1865. I think the orphanage was called Par La Per L'Infazia Abbandonato Ospital Provincia de Genova.
She was named at the orphanage: Mansueta Arnica b. 15 July 1865
Sent to live with Michele and Maria Avansini
Married Antonio Minetto b. 1861 in Aquabianca, Italy in about 1887
Immigrated to USA in 1893 with daughter Mary Rose Minetto b. 1888 in Aquabianca, Italy
Died in Reno, NV, USA in 1958
I have information on her when she gets to the USA but I can't find any information on her in Italy. She also had two sons who died as babies: Andrea (Andrew) Minetto and Giovanni (John) Minetto. Both born sometime between 1887 and 1892.
Any information appreciated!

Marriage would have been in 1884. They were living in San Marco d'Urri.
Re: Mansueta Arnica Minetto 1865-1958 Genoa
but Acquabianca is a hamlet of Urbe town (in the past time was Olba and Martina Olba two hamlets, and both becaume Urbe) in Savona province.... if she was no born in Acquabianca, but married here, the her Birth record or baptism record can be find in Allegati matrimoniali folder, in Savona archive;
you can search here:
http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... +allegati/
http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... +allegati/
However I advice you to search as first step the marriage bann and marriage record, and if you will find it, then you can search in Allegati
http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... tina+Olba/
http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... iano/Olba/
hoping helpful,
good luck,

Re: Mansueta Arnica Minetto 1865-1958 Genoa
Thank you. I searched all those records with no luck. I think we are confused about the hamlets and locations.
It seems as if Antonio MInetto who was born in Aquabianca was working cutting wood in San Marco d'Urri and met Mansueta Arnica. My grandmother said they walked to Genoa to get married. They stayed in San Marco d'Urri until about 1893 because Mansueta wouldn't leave her sick adopted mother.
So Mary Rose Minetto was likely born in San Marco d'Urri on 24 April 1888. They had two more children Giovanni and Andrea who died as infants also in San Marco d'Urri.
Does that make a difference on where I should be searching? Thank you very much for your assistance.
