Nov 24, 1838
Banns on the 4th, 11th, and 18th of November resulted in no legitimate impediments to the marriage

Groom: Vincenzo Mistretta, son of Antonino (Mistretta) and Leonarda Cassara
Bride: Maria Maranzano, daughter of Giuseppe (Maranzano) and Tommasa di Girolamo

Diane-there are no ages given in the record for either the groom or the bride. In fact, I've never seen ages given in church marriage records, but the info included or not included was totally at the discretion of the individual priest or his clerk.

Erudita, I do have some marriage records with ages dated in the late 1800's. but like you said it was up to the discretion of the priest or clerk, but thank you for letting me know.
Diane :)
