I am currently new to this forum and am seeking an attorney referral in New Jersey. I know I qualify for Jure Sanguinis through my mother's father. There is a discrepancy in my deceased mother's name along the way. It got changed from her New York birth certificate from Giuseppina Masino to her NJ marriage certificate and my NJ birth certificate to Jean Messina. The State of NJ will not amend my birth certificate without a court order so I am stuck there.
Can anyone refer me to an attorney in NJ who can not only handle this issue but complete the entire process going forward?
