Certificato de Penale

I accepted a job in Naples. I was told I need a bunch of paperwork, all of which are trivial except the criminal record. I never lived in Italy but I do have a passport.
Is this letter difficult to obtain? How long does it take to get it?

normally the Certificato penale, also called (wrong)Fedina Penale, in Italy is a document (certificate) containing an extract only of criminal records
recorded in the criminal record (Casellario giudiziario) and contains the chronicle of criminal convictions that a italian Citizen had in his life, and that they became res judicata, became final.

On line are agency working on this matter,
and you receive the certificate in 4 days, via email and via regular mail.. this is a website

however you can choice by yourself the better agency... now: I don't know your residence in Italy, but the Certificato penale can be requested also by you, yourself, in person, in the provincial Court..
