Coccia Family

Post by DANN »

Hey everyone,

My cousin needs some help locating information regarding her in-laws.

She is having trouble find: Angeline/Angelina DeNardo/DiNardo who immigrated in around 1911 - no luck on Ellis Island!

Furthermore, does anyone know where South Quecdil Marsi, Italy is? It has something to do with her research but she can't find any information on it.

Any help would be great! :D

Giuseppe Coccia was from Luco dei Marsi

You can request civil records to

Comune
Ufficio di Stato Civile
Via Duca Degli Abruzzi, 1
67056 Luco Dei Marsi (AQ)
Italy

you can also contact, at least for draft card and military record, the Archivio di Stato dell'Aquila (this archive has civil record from 1809 to 1865)

as I can see Giuseppe Coccia was born around 1882 and Angelina DeNardo/DiNardo around 1890/1891

You can get more informations from:SSDI, marriage application and act, naturalization record (they both naturalized on 1918), death record and cemetery record,
bye Riccardo

Dan,

Did Angelina marry in Italy or in the USA? Not sure if you already gave this info and I just missed it but I'm curious. Do you know her mom's name (both the first and maiden name) or her Dad's? Just want to try some different avenues.

I found it

Here there is Angiolina Di Nardi left on 1911 at age 21, last residence Ortucchio, province of L'Aquila; she leaves her father Loreto in Ortucchio to reach her brother Domenico

page 1

page 2

for civil record office contact

Comune
Ufficio di Stato Civile
Piazza Alfredo Zampa
67050 Ortucchio (AQ)
Italy

Archivio di Stato dell'Aquila has civil records from 1809 to 1865.
The Ufficio di Stato Civile has civil records from 1809 to nowadays.
I hope it helps, bye Riccardo
