I just realized that on the Friuli in prin website his name is Agostino Ponton, and the image of the marriage publication on the Portale Antenati his name is Agostino Pontoni. Moreover, his son Vittorio appears as Pontoni, as well as his daughter Ida (http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... 6.jpg.html) and his son Leandio(?) (http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... 2.jpg.html)

I'm lost. Could the Friuli in prin database be wrong?

By that do you mean that for the Italian authorities both are OK? So if in his Baptism act it is PONTON and in his marriage act it is PONTONI, it wouldn't be a problem for the dual the citizenship process?
