English to Italian

Post by DonnaH »

Still no luck finding my grandfathers birth record from the microfiche at my FHL. Have decided to try my luck writing to the local churches asking for information. Could someone please translate the following sentence into Italian for me.

"Saverio's siblings names and dates of birth are as follows:"

For those of you that tried to help me find my grandfathers 1/2 brother Pasquale awhile back, I wanted to give you an update. I found out by writing to a 3rd cousin that his last name was DeMark. I found him listed on the census for Pittston, Pa. Still have not found him on Ellis Island though.
Is DeMark a legit. name or should it possibly be DeMarco???? And would the correct spelling be with a lower case de and capital M???

Thanks for all your help

If it was DeMarco, don't forget to search under DiMarco also. The DeM versus DiM can make a big difference with a search engine.

Filmed records for my DiMarco/Demarco show both spellings with D capitalizated & sometimes M, too. Mine are from Potenza area.
Researching in San Vitaliano, Napoli, Italy & Armento, Potenza, Italy.
