Translation of Birth Certificate

Post by caroleindfw »

Cheery Hello from Dallas!

I have recently started looking into my Italian ancestry. I would like to have someone translate my grandfather's birth certificate. Thank you for all of your hard work and efforts. Truly do appreciate the help!

With warmest regards

Dated 20 April 1877 at the town office in Guardia Sanframondi
Before the official appeared Filippo Gambuti, 26, farmer residing in this town, to declare that at 1:15 AM on the 20th of the current month, at the house at Via Campopiano #3; from Maria Pasqualina Assini, his wife, farmer, residing with him, was born a male child who he presented to the official and to whom was given the name RAFFAELE
Witnesses to the recording of this birth: Michele Sanzari, 28, farmer; Giuseppe del Vecchio, 31, farmer.
The act was read to all present and on the official signed as the others did not know how to write.
