Need help with birth "transcript" in 1901 Allegati

Post by VotM »

In the 1901 marriage Allegati for what appears to be one of my great aunts, there is an unusual entry in place of the standard birth transcript. Rather than being the usual copy of an entry from the "Nati" records, this seems to be a document asserting that the birth was somehow not properly recorded in 1882 for the bride, Stefana Esposito inteso Papa, daughter of Felice Esposito inteso Papa and Marianna Carnaggio. There also appears to be some hint that the bride was originally viewed as the daughter of Giuseppe de Cefalu.

At a minimum, I'm hoping someone can confirm (or correct) my general understanding of these pages; namely, that
  • they assert the bride, Stefana, is in fact the daughter of Felice Esposito inteso Papa and Marianna Carnaggio, and
  • they give Stefana's birth date as November 30, 1882.
If someone cares to provide a fuller translation, either here or by PM, that would be especially welcome. Thanks in advance!

Misinterpretation on my part here. Looking at the family tree, I think that the person who appeared before the town official, "Stefana Papa fu Giuseppe de Cefalu", is the daughter of Giuseppe Papa, a resident of Cefalu. This particular Stefana was the foster sister of Felice Esposito inteso Papa -- not the bride herself.
