1878 Gibellina birth records missing

I am searching for a gibellina birth record: lst name Giustiniano, last name Santoro, baptized, Joseph. Born Oct 18, 1878, mother: Caterina Campisi. father unknown. he is my hard one I have worked on for years. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. I've looked for him for over 10 years. help please

No I have not. She was a single mother and 1878 records are missing online. not sure why, perhaps they were destroyed? all other years are available.

yes caterina campisi married vincenzo guarisco april 1881 in gibellina. my great grandfather santoro giustiniano was illigetimate. trying to decide if the nuns named him in gibellina, he was born oct. 1878. according to the ship manifest his name was reversed in sicily: guistiniano santoro. so i just discovered this, always thought he just put his name backwards on manifest. since he was born oct 18ish, thought maybe his last name was given to him by nuns because it's so close to all saints day. I'm just at a dead end. might head over the pond in May. Zummo was caterina's mothers name and I see many still in gibellina today.

Just to let you know, I recently sent a similar request to the neighbouring Partanna, and they answered me the next day.

The mail address was not anymore @partanna.gov.it, it did end instead in @unionebelice.it.

Apparently the municipalities of the Belice valley have started sharing a number of services, and they have started to use a different mail address.

Thank you. It's been 2 weeks and haven't heard anything. Maybe I should snail mail it. Thanks for your help. His name was either giustiniano santoro, or santoro giustiniano. The manifest lists him as 1st name giustiniano, surname santoro. In america he went by santoro giustiniano.
