Hi, please help us read a Death record from Geraci Siculo.

It is the 1829 Death Act 40 - Giuseppa Murgia - Antonio & Francesca Iuppa. She is the wife of Francesco Puccio.

Death Record No 40: Giuseppa Murgia
Geraci Siculo: 5 March 1829, 4 pm

Appearing was Francesco Callari, neighbour (vicino), 33, farmer, living in this town, Rua di San Giuliano, and Mauro ?, neighbour, 33, shepherd, who reported that yesterday, 4 March 1829, at 2 pm died Giuseppa Murgia, wife of Francesco Puccio, 34 yo, born and living Geraci. She was the daughter of deceased Antonino Murgia and Francesca Iuppa living therein.

Great job, Gary. I thought you must have found her death record, since you were so specific about when she died.

Thank you again Angela. We knew when Giuseppa Murgia died brcause we had her son Paolo Puccio's birth on March 1, 1929 which said Giuseppa Murgia was alive and then we had Paolo Puccio's death on March 21, 1929 which said Giuseppa Murgia was deceased. I ran over to the FHC this morning and grabbed the death cert and as many Puccio childrens birth & death Cert's. I will sort thru them and hopefully they will clarify which Francesco is the right Francesco.
