Trouble reading physical attributes in Foglio Matricolare

I am having trouble reading the handwriting in the attached image under "segni particolari" and wonder if someone can assist. I can read the profession fine: "bracciante". The only words I can make out clearly under the physical attributes seem to be "superiore indice/i". Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
