Filippo Riccio of Caserta Marriage Record

Hi all,

I am truly stumped! I have been trying to find information for my great-great-grandfather, Filippo Riccio. He was in approximately 1860 in the comune of San Felice a Cancello, Caserta. He married Caterina Passariello and had many children including my great-grandmother. I am looking to locate a marriage record for Filippo and his wife so I may find a closer approximation for his date of birth as well as locate his parents and his wife's parents. They were married in San Felice a Cancello at an unknown date but probably around 1880-1885. Any help is greatly appreciated. By finding this marriage record I hope to find siblings for Filippo and Caterina as well.

Also, the surname D'Alise appears on my family tree a lot in this town. Do you think Alise or D'Alise is the correct spelling, I have seen both on various records form this town.

Thanks for the clarification. So you think the corr cat spelling of the surname is Alise or D’Alise? It looks like on the Italian whitepages that D’Alise is the right spelling. However, on many documents I see Alise.

The best way to find siblings of Fillipo Riccio (abt 1858) and Caterina Passariello is to go to your local Family History Library and on their computer view the film records of San Felice a Cancello (Caserta), 1809-1929 Civil registration of births, marriages, banns, deaths, miscellaneous documents, marriage documents, citizenship records, supplements (births, banns, marriages, deaths) for San Felice a Cancello, Caserta, Italy. Some years missing. includes annual indexes.

There is also a frazione ( village )of Arezzo which is part of the comune of Vobbia in Province of Genoa.
