death act help pls

Post by dmt1955 »

any thoughts as to what would be the reason to write "figlio pero naturale" [son however natural] on the death act? i have never seen this before when both parents names are listed.
thanks, donna.

Donna
I have never seen this phrase before either, but I am thinking it means that he was born before the parents married.

Donna
I found only one reference to the phrase, so I think I am correct in my above reply

figlio però naturale, cioè a dire nato prima del matrimonio,

thank so very much, erudita.....a few pages later was the death act for his twin sister, and although this phrase was not used, it was indicated that she was a 'figlia naturale.'

i appreciate your help

Hi Donna
So dark outside this morning, since we moved our clocks forward, that I overslept and am missing my aerobics class. Oh, well, more time for genealogy and laundry.

Your records never cease to amaze me and certainly give us reason for further thought and investigation.

Have a good day.
