Translation Marriage Record

Post by nichbuket »

Hello,

I have been trying to help my husband trace his genealogy but I don't read a lick of Italian. We have been searching for the marriage record of his great grandparents for a long while now, and I think we've found it. can someone please help translate the record? It's image 21 through the top of 22, I believe.

This is the record of marriage for Luigi Camillo Tieri & Cristina Elisabetta Zucchegna
Record #5 - Dated 12 September 1892 in Bolognano
The town official received the same day from the official in the town of Castel di Sangro a copy of the marriage and transcribed it exactly as written in the the register as follows:
Marriage #45 in Castel di Sangro - dated 6 September 1892 at the town office.
Before the official appeared...
Luigi Camillo Tieri, age 26, farmer born in Bolognano, residing Bolognano; son of deceased Giustino [Tieri] who resided Bolognano at his lifetime, and of deceased Nicola De Santis, who resided in Bolognano in her lifetime.
AND
Cristina Elisabetta Zuccegna (probably should be Zucchegna), age 22, housewife born in Castel di Sangro, residing Castel di Sangro, daughter of Gaetano [Zucchegna] who resides in Castel di Sangro, and of Camilla Gentile who resides in Castel di Sangro,
who requested to be united in marriage and presented to the official the act of publication of the banns of marriage which the official entered into the allegati (attachments to the record), and then he conducted the marriage according to the Civil Code asking each if they take the other...and pronounced them husband and wife.
Publication of banns was made on 1 and 8 of May of the current year., and in the town of Bolognano on 8 and 15 of May.
The rest is the official stating that along with him Luigi Camillo Tieri, Cristina Zucchegna, Angelo Iacobucci (witness to the record), and Ferdinando Colicchio (witness to the record) signed the document. (The original one, not the one transcribed into the register in Bolognano :-) )
